Recruitment Process
Application
Our application process includes sending a copy of your CV, which outlines details about your experience and qualifications to date. You’ll have the chance to add in further detail as part of the application form if needed.
Screening Phone Call
If your skillset is a potential match for the role you have applied for, or other vacant roles within the business, we may call you to get to know you and discuss your experience in more detail. The phone screen won’t be a full interview, it is more of a process to help narrow down the candidate pool to those who are best suited for the role, saving time and resources for both parties involved.
Interview
We provide our candidates with an interview hints and tips sheet, which will help you stay focused before, during, and after the interview. Think of this checklist as your secret weapon for feeling extra prepared and confident.
Interview Questions
Our interview questions have recently been updated to reflect our Behavioural Competencies and our People Promise. Having a good understanding of the role from the profile will allow you to familiarise yourself with the types of activities you will be required to undertake and your responsibilities. Having time to read these, considering where you have had similar experience in the past or how you have acted in similar situations will help you answer the questions.
Financial Questions
For some of our management roles we have created questions that will help to evaluate candidates’ financial acumen and ensure they possess the necessary skills to excel in key areas such as stock control, gross profit (GP) optimisation, system and labour management, and effective menu management in line with our menu plans and specifications.
Providing Feedback
Following the interview we aim to keep you updated and provide constructive feedback
