The caterer already holds the contract to provide catering services to two WDH Extra Care sites in Ossett and Featherstone, which mobilised in September 2013. The coffee shop will fall into the existing seven-year deal worth £1.75m.
Coffee Connection is incorporated in to brand new service centre, The Hub, which has been developed to enable local WDH tenants learn about technology and the digital world. Opening 8.30am to 4pm Monday to Saturday, with late night opening on Thursday, Coffee Connection will provide a typical high street coffee shop offer. It will be open to members of the public as well as the 60,000 WDH tenants living in the Wakefield area.
