Elior consultant chef Anton Edelmann (centre) takes a break from preparing local Welsh produce at the National Museum Cardiff with Elior’s chefs ahead of the contract caterer’s second Inspirational Dinner - a quarterly event to develop the skills and expertise of employees and celebrate produce from different parts of the country.
Eighty-five guests attended the dinner which focused on celebrating Welsh cuisine, using carefully selected local ingredients.
Elior marketing director Carl Morris explains: “At Elior it’s the whole experience that matters - we want to inspire and develop our people to be the best they can be so together we can deliver the ultimate customer experience.
“This dinner has allowed our chefs to work with one of their heroes, Anton Edelmann, to create a bespoke menu that celebrates great food and drink from Wales and supports local suppliers.”
The dinner also raised £1,400 for two charities: Starlight, Elior’s charity of the year which grants ‘wishes of a lifetime’ to terminally ill children and Ty Hafan, which offers comfort, care and support for life-limited children and young people and their families
