Elior UK is further cementing its commitment to delivering the very best customer experience by offering its employees the opportunity to study for an NVQ in Customer Service.
The leading contract caterer, who is dedicated to providing the very best level of service to its customers, is working with training partner Babcock to deliver the NVQ free of charge to eligible employees.
Michele Moore, Head of People Development at Elior UK, explains: “Our people are at the heart of our business. By giving them the opportunity to study for an NVQ, a national professional qualification, we’re not only recognising their importance to the business but demonstrating our commitment to their personal development.
“We want Elior’s people focus to raise standards for all across the foodservice industry. We aim to give our customers joy, pleasure and service with a smile; and our clients the reassurance that the whole experience we deliver reflects their ethos, high standards and care for the people that matter to them. Training and investing in employees is a big part of achieving this.”
The NVQ will be open to all Elior’s eXperience Service Champions - employees who have been chosen by their peers to ensure Elior’s service standards are met.
Tim Hammond, Chief Executive of Elior UK, adds: “Our aim is to make Elior the best place to work in the industry. We've already got the lowest staff turnover in the industry - 20% compared to an industry average of 40% - and the opportunity to study for the Customer Service NVQ will further equip our people with the tools to do a great job.”
