Situated on the Royal Mile in a most prestigious area of the city, Fraser Suites is seeking to deliver a food and beverage offering through its restaurant Broadsheet Bistro, in keeping with its luxury core values.
Elior plans to provide full service breakfast, lunch and dinner in the seven-day week, 7am to 10pm operation, as well as welcome hampers and room service for guests.
The Broadsheet Bistro, housed in an old newspaper printing works, opened its doors in July for breakfast service, with resounding success.
Heather McNamee, regional general manager, Fraser Suites, speaks of the opening: “With the first day done, Elior has scored a ‘Wow!’ already for breakfast, served to our VIP guests invited by our CEO. It’s great to receive such good feedback on breakfast here at Fraser Suites, Edinburgh.”
The breakfast menu is currently offering a full Scottish breakfast, which includes haggis and the all-day menu offers local line-caught fish and chips, homemade burgers and a selection of freshly made sandwiches.
Caroline Bacigalupo, bistro manager, Elior, comments: “We have plans to introduce a new and exciting menu which will include afternoon teas and a Scottish tapas menu for the Festival. A cocktail menu will be introduced later this month and we will be offering private dining in the newly refurbished dining rooms from September.”
