The brand new entertainments venue on the River Clyde is part of the SECC (Scottish Conference and Exhibition Centre) and is due to open at the end of the month. Elior has provided cleaning services to SECC for the last three years and the new contract has been awarded on the strength of the management team’s outstanding performance and relationship over this time.

Jacqui Provan, Deputy Director – Operations, The SSE Hydro, explains: “Over the last three years we have enjoyed an excellent relationship with the Elior team. They have delivered a quality service in what have been very demanding situations at times. We see their involvement in The SSE Hydro as a natural extension.”

Elior has employed 30 extra staff to fulfil the new contract and has invested in innovative cleaning equipment, and new fully branded SECC uniforms for all staff.

In addition to Elior’s outstanding customer service training programme, eXperience, all staff have also received tailored SECC training in customer excellence.
