Salford City Stadium has signed an exciting new ten-year deal worth £13 million with Azure (part of Elior UK), to provide match and non match-day event catering at the soon to be opened stadium.

Manchester’s newest conference and events destination, and home to the Salford City Reds Super League Rugby team, has teamed up with the hospitality partner to deliver high quality banqueting in its state of the art conferencing suites, which will cater for up to 1,000 delegates.

The new 12,000 capacity stadium is due to be completed in December 2011, with the first stadium match kicking off in February 2012.

As part of the deal, award winning Azure chef Steven Fitzsimmons will oversee catering at the stadium, alongside experienced general manager Steven Reeve and his team. Fitzsimmons brings with him experience from stadia in Scotland and Manchester’s Crowne Plaza hotel.

In addition to providing catering services, Azure will also be responsible for marketing and selling the stadium's conferencing offer for non-match day use.

The stadium’s facilities include hospitality suites and executive meeting spaces along with match-day food kiosks.
