What you'll be doing...
This role will champion and coordinate our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) activities across the business, along with supporting our aim to drive engagement with our colleagues through multiple channels, developing and delivering engaging and informative content and materials to keep colleagues informed.
You will help build and communicate a collective colleague participation culture, where equality and inclusion are embedded in everything we do, whilst contributing to the development, administration, and implementation of initiatives that support in delivering our ‘Celebrate Equality’ objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, informative content for various communication channels, ensuring over 8,000 colleagues stay informed and connected.
- Manage the company’s UK Mailjet account, creating copy and distributing regular communications.
- Prepare content for colleague-facing publications, including quarterly newsletters, weekly updates, and ad-hoc messages.
- Regularly update and maintain colleague portals, such as the Company Extranet and HR Information System (Dayforce), ensuring information is current and accessible.
- Promote open, inclusive dialogue across the business, ensuring all colleagues feel represented and involved in key activities and events.
- Work closely with colleague network groups, offering support and guidance to help them deliver impactful initiatives.
- Research, promote, and apply best practices in diversity and inclusion, sharing insights and progress across the organisation.
- Stay up-to-date with ED&I trends and legislation to ensure that company policies and strategies remain relevant and effective.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive ED&I initiatives, embedding inclusive practices throughout the colleague journey.
- Ensure internal communications are engaging and align with the company’s People Promise and overall business goals.
- Collect and respond to colleague feedback to assess communication effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

- Knowledge of ED&I Best Practices: Awareness of best practices related to Diversity, Equality, Inclusion, and wellbeing.
- Digital Proficiency: Advanced digital skills, with solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Experience with Communication Tools: Familiarity with internal communication platforms such as intranets, newsletters, and social media is a plus.
